Meet the Manta Caribbean Project Team

Karen Fuentes and the Manta Caribbean Project have gone from strength to strength in recent year. This summer, Guy and Bex went out to join the project in Mexico for a few weeks during their field season to find out about some of the research they are undertaking. As always, Guy was on hand to snap some stunning shots of all their interactions. Notice how the Caribbean mantas have the same Y shaped colouration as a reef manta on the top, but much more closely resemble oceanic mantas from underneath!
